Computers - some of us love them :) and some of us don't :(. Look at the following website for some new website ideas to use in the classroom. Computers are a great piece of equipment to use while teaching, but also for student use for reinforcement.
These student response systems are useful not only for assessment, but for questioning students on their knowledge. Use higher-thinking questioning skills to determine students prior knowledge before starting a lesson. For the upper grades, your student response system can be used in a "texting" mode for things like a vocabulary test. Think outside the box to use these pieces!
How did we ever live without document cameras???? :) Putting something under the camera and having it posted to the board is a wonderful thing. You will find many times throughout the day, that the document camera comes in handy.
The interactive whiteboard is amazing! The more you use it the more it will be your friend :) Remember, don't just use it as a whiteboard, have it interact with your students.
